I built Locatemycentre to fix something that should never have been this hard: finding a diagnostic centre you can actually trust, quickly, at the moment it matters most.

Why I started this

A few years ago I was living in Estonia when my father, back home in India, went through a series of medical emergencies. From thousands of kilometres away, I found myself trying to answer questions that felt like they should have had simple answers. Which diagnostic centre near him is reliable? Which one can actually do the test his doctor ordered? Can someone collect a sample from his home so he does not have to travel? How soon will the report come, and can I see it from abroad?

There was no single, trustworthy place to answer any of that. So I did what most families do in that moment. I called relatives, searched scattered listings, pieced together fragments of information, and made decisions half-blind while worrying about the person I love. The uncertainty was the worst part. Not the distance, not the logistics, but the feeling of choosing without really knowing.

That experience made one thing obvious to me. This was not just my problem. Whether a family lives on the next street or on the other side of the world, millions of people go through the same uncertainty every single day when someone they care about needs a test. I decided to build the thing I wished had existed that week.

The problem I'm solving

Finding a diagnostic centre in India today is fragmented and full of guesswork. Information is scattered across dozens of places, there is no easy way to compare centres side by side, and it is genuinely hard to tell which ones are accredited, what they charge, or whether they can come to your home. Most people end up deciding based on whoever is nearest or whoever a neighbour happened to recommend.

The idea behind Locatemycentre is simple. It is a structured, one-stop way to find and compare diagnostic centres across India, so the uncertainty is taken out of the decision. One place to search, verified listings, and the details that actually help you choose with confidence: location, the tests a centre offers, accreditation, and more. You should be able to find the right centre in minutes, not spend an anxious afternoon guessing.

My background

Let me be upfront. I am not a doctor. I am a builder.

For over seven years I have worked in growth and lifecycle marketing, scaling products across dozens of markets around the world, including in ride-hailing, edtech, and fintech. I have led lifecycle programmes across 45+ markets, helped grow platforms used by tens of millions of people, and been the first marketing hire building a company's presence in India from the ground up. I hold a B.Com from Calcutta University, and today I build products with a strong focus on doing hard things properly rather than quickly.
